Glen Volker joins Thistle

Meet our FQPL2 First Team coaches!

Glen Volker joins Thistle after having a few years away from senior coaching. He has maintained his involvement in football by working with his son’s junior teams. Glen has significant experience having coached Brisbane City in the NPL and UQFC in the BPL. “I am looking forward to working with Scott and the team at Grange Thistle this year, along with the challenge of what I’m sure will be a competitive league in FQPL2.”

Scott Hawkins continues in the role of first team assistant coach and is excited about the young talent we’ll have in our squad this year. “We have some very good young blokes joining the club who have come through NPL junior systems. We also have some promising lads that have come through our juniors who got first team opportunities last year season. We are lucky to have someone with Glen’s experience on board with a proven track record of developing young players.”
