Job Description

We are looking for qualified and experienced soccer coaches to join our growing team based at Grange Thistle, Lanham Park.

 

We coach children from 5 to 18 years of age, and run an extensive programs which includes soccer clinics, team training, Academy and Development Squads, and school holiday clinics.

What we are looking for:

Enthusiasm for both soccer and working with children is essential. You will need to be fun and full of energy to engage and maximize every child's development and potential. 

 

Excellent communication skills, reliability, and being physically fit for the role is essential. 

We also require applicants to have a current Working with Children Check, and be legally entitled to work in Australia.

Coaching sessions will be afternoons and weekends.

GTFC Coach

 

Role: To work within our club and help provide coaching in that age category.
Training night: You will be required to lead 2 sessions a week.
Gameday: Weekend
Preferred Qualifications: Minimum FFA Skill Trainer but enrolled on the AFC 'C' Licence. All Academy coaches are currently undertaking or fully qualified AFC 'C' Licence coaches.
General expectations in the role: The coach will be expected to develop their squad under the guidance of Grange Roar Academy and follow the FFA National Curriculum to ensure all players have the necessary building blocks for the future. You must be confident coaching striking, 1v1s, first touch and running with the ball.
